The first time we used this, we spent about thirty minutes getting it on, and half a day getting it off! First, the key inserts very roughly in the lock, so it’s difficult to tell if it’s all the way in or not. After many tries, we finally got the key to work. Second, getting the parts to fit the first time is awkward, and difficult, and forced us to lay on our side trying to get the pieces to line up correctly. The good news is that once installed, it looks like it will be a real deterrent and should work fine. But it’s not quick to put on or take off. Overall, I would rate this about a 3 – it does a good job, but what a difficult tool to use!
